Calligraphy is thriving in beautiful Birmingham, Alabama!

Hi! My name is Melinda Sapp, and as the current president, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the exciting world of calligraphy through our guild website!

The Birmingham Calligraphy Guild, Les Enlumineurs, seeks to promote the art of beautiful writing in the Birmingham metropolitan area.

Our membership consists of a very diverse group of calligraphers, from the hobbyist to the full-time professional and every level of interest in between. We come from Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Kentucky and many of our members travel to Birmingham to participate in the numerous learning opportunities hosted by the guild.
